Chaotic (L.O.R.D.S. #7) — Chapter no 20

TWENTY

EV ERETT

hat in the fuck is he doing here, and why the fuck am I in‐W dulging him? He scared the shit out of me when I saw him standing down here. But I’m not surprised. I knew he wouldn’t go away.

I don’t care if I look crazy, but I refuse to back down or appear weak. Once they smell your fear, they feast on it. Use it against you.

I’m a pro at calling some one’s bluff. But I can’t deny I’m wet for him.

My shoulders are burning because of how he’s got my arms se‐ cured behind my back. He showed up tonight for a reason—to prove he has the upper hand. That I’m just another bitch he’s going to use however he wants until the next one comes along.

“What if I said yes?”

Lifting my chin, I say, “Try your best.”

Pushing his body flush with mine, he gently brushes my hair off my chest so it falls down my back before his hands slide into it. His tat‐ ted fin gers tighten in my curled strands, and I hiss in a breath when it makes my scalp sting.

He yanks my head back, making my lips part as he stares down at me. My heart is hammer ing, my pussy throbbing.

He uses his hands in my hair to tilt my head to the side before he lowers his face to my neck. He licks along my racing pulse, and my heavy eyes fall closed.

“You taste amazing, Eve,” he whispers, placing featherlight kisses along my neck.

My legs threaten to buckle. “Kash,” I breathe, shuffling in my heels.

He’s going to fuck me, and I’m going to hate myself tomorrow for letting him. I tell myself that al cohol can help. I’ll just drink until I pass out.

Re leasing my hair, his hands drop to my ass, and he digs his fin gers into it as he lifts me off my heels. He sets me down on the ta ble, and pieces of glass cut into my skin while I sit in a pud dle of al cohol.

The pain feels good.

I part my legs for him, and he steps between them. He rips my leo‐ tard down the center to expose my chest. I’m not wearing a bra. I didn’t plan on seeing anyone tonight. It’s why I didn’t put any type

of pants on.

“Tell me to stop, Eve,” he orders.

I can’t make myself say the words, so I moan instead, lean ing into him.

He chuckles as his hands mas sage my breasts. “You want me to fuck you, you’re going to have to beg me for it.”

Fuck. Of course he’s going to make me do that. “Please.”

“Please what, angel?”

I swallow nervously and whis per, “Please fuck me.”

“You’re so timid.” He drops his gaze to my heaving chest. “What happened to the feisty woman who likes a challenge, huh?”

He’s playing with me, and I hate losing.

Leaning forward, I hold his stare. “Please fuck me. Any way you want, Kash. I’m your whore to play with.”

He yanks me off the ta ble, and I wobble in my heels on the shards of bro ken glass that cover the floor. His hands drop to my hips, and he undoes my belt before he drapes it around his neck. Then he spins me around so he’s behind me.

I drop my head to look at my legs when I feel him wrapping my belt around my thighs, but it’s inside out. “What are you doing?” I ask breathlessly.

“Fucking you however I want,” he answers, pulling it tight, forc ing me to close my legs. He buckles it in place, and I hiss in a breath as I feel the spikes dig into my skin.

He wants to hurt me, cause me pain because he knows I enjoy it.

Grabbing a handful of my hair, he bends me over the side of the ta‐ ble, push ing my ass out, and his hand moves my leo tard to the side.

My breath gets caught and I try to pull my legs apart when I feel his cock pushing its way into my soaked pussy.

“Fuck, you’re wet, an gel.”

I’m having a hard time catching my breath due to the position I’m in. His pierced cock stretches my cunt, and I cry out. All I want to do is spread my legs for him, let him fuck me deep, but it’s impossible.

“That’s it, Eve. Scream for me while I fuck you.”

He begins to move, his hips thrusting hard and quick, forc ing the front of my legs to hit the side of the ta ble, which shoves the spikes far ther into my thighs. My stomach and chest are on the ta ble, my arms still tied behind my back. I can’t move. All I can do is take it, and my body loves it.

“Fuck,” I moan. “Kashton…” My heavy eyes fall shut.

He lets go of my hair, and one hand slaps my ass while the other grips my hip.

“Talk to me, angel.” His voice is calm. He’s not nearly as worked up as I am. “What do you need?” He slows, and I groan in desperation.

His hand moves from my hip to my back, and he holds me down to the alcohol-covered wooden table.

“More,” I gasp, try ing to bounce up and down in my heels. “I need more…”

Pulling out, he slams forward, and I whimper when my body digs into the edge. He does it again. And again. Each thrust is harder than the last. “Kash—” I suck in a ragged breath, trying to get con‐ trol of my body, but I’m losing. He’s getting exactly what he came here for—to use me.

“I can feel your body tens ing. It’s okay, angel. Let it go. Come for me.” He urges me. “Show me how much you enjoy it.”

My legs tingle from lack of blood flow and my thighs are screaming from the spikes on my belt. It feels so good. My eyes grow heavy, and I’m having trouble breathing.

Fuck him for making it feel good. And fuck me for letting him have it. My body stiffens as my pussy clenches down on him when I come all over his dick just like he wanted.

“Good girl, angel.” He slows his move ments, and I imagine he’s looking down at his dick sliding in and out of my pussy. “My cock is covered in your cum.”

I want to cry. I’m not sure if it’s from coming, confu sion, or embar‐ rassment.

He pulls out, and I slump against the ta ble, taking a second to catch my breath. Then I feel him undoing the belt around my upper arms, followed by the one around my fore arms.

They fall to my sides while he undoes the one around my legs. I moan, silently beg ging him to fuck me more. Throw me onto the glass-covered ta ble, shove my knees to my chest, and fuck my soaked pussy.

In stead, he grips my hair, and I cry out when he yanks me off the ta ble and spins me around to face him. I trip off the side of my heel, but he catches me before I fall on my face.

The blood rushes back to my arms and down my legs, making all my limbs tingle, rendering them useless for the mo ment. They’re just heavy weight, and I’m having a hard time re maining upright.

His eyes are on mine as his free hand falls between my shaking thighs and he runs his fin gers over my swollen pussy. I rock my hips back and forth, riding his hand, wanting more than the quickie he just gave me. Pulling his hand back, he brings his fingers to his mouth, parts his lips, and licks them clean.

Heat rushes over my al ready hot skin, and I glance down at his still hard dick. It’s covered in my cum. I lick my lips, and he chuckles.

Gripping my hair, he pulls my head back and leans in, whispering against my lips. “Next time, angel.” With that, he lets go, grabs his bag, then makes his way up the stairs, slamming the door shut.

I raise my trembling hands and run them through my wet and mat‐ ted hair.

What the fuck just happened? He got me off and then just…left?

He didn’t even come. Did he? No. I would have known that. Did he not enjoy it?

Was this him proving to me that I liked it, but he didn’t?

This is the opposite of being used. Usually, they fuck you to get whatthey want. Their happy ending. He just wanted me to like it to

y

prove a point.

That’s how they all are.

It’s all about fucking with your mind. Leaving you confused and de‐ pendent on them.

My mouth starts to water, and I run up the stairs, knowing I’m go‐

ing to get sick.

KASHTON It’s been two days since I took Elling ton to her appointment. After I got her ice cream, I drove her home and dropped her off. Sin wasn’t there yet, and I hated to leave her alone. She was obviously still up‐ set, but she assured me she’d be fine.

I didn’t want to make her uncomfortable by hang ing around if she didn’t want me there.

I’ve wanted to text Sin to see if she’s okay, but I’ve left him alone.

He let me do something for his wife, and I’ll take that as a win.

But I wish he’d call me. Hell, I’d settle for a text at this point.

Is this what go ing through a breakup feels like? Where you hang out every day, al ways texting and calling…thenbam, you no longer exist to them? I’ve never been in any sort of meaning ful re la tionship.

I had a chosen, but we were both forced into that. She hated me, and I tolerated her. And then, like everything else in my life, I was forced to make a decision. I chose to kill her. Save her from a much worse fate.

Sin and I had gotten just as close as I am to Saint and Hai dyn. It’s my fault. I get attached quickly. I’m afraid of being alone, and my broth ers have both moved on. So I clung to Sin. I know he’s mar ried too, but it’s different. Maybe because he hasn’t betrayed me like my broth ers. In stead, I’m the one who’s hurt him.

Now that Haidyn and Saint have mar ried, everything feels…off, and I’m lonely.

So like any other night, I find myself walk ing into Blackout. Spotting a few guys from Bar rington, I sit down at their ta ble to shoot the shit. Why not? Haidyn is busy with Charlotte, and Saint’s with Ashtyn. They’ve both got some one, and what was once the three of

us is now the four of them.

I’ve been re placed. Forgotten.

I plan on going to the cemetery afterward to see my girl. The flow‐ ers were a gift, but my visit to her house the other night was a warning. I’m not going to walk away. She’ll have to kill me.

I stayed away from her yesterday. On purpose. I wanted to give her some time to come to terms with the fact we had sex again and that we’re going to continue doing it.

There won’t be an inch of her skin that I won’t touch. She will be‐ long to me in every way a woman can belong to a Lord. That in‐ cludes be ing my Lady.

But I’ve got to take my time. She knows I’m following her every move. She’s questioning whether I’m watching her or not. And when I’m going to collect what she owes me. I wasn’t lying when I said the guys want answers. If they find out she’s connected to Isabella, things could get messy. The guys won’t hesitate to string her up, strip her naked, and wait for the wolves to attack. A con fes sional.

Wouldn’t that be ironic? That’s what she does for the Lords. Some‐ thing tells me they’d be willing to let her be the one strapped to the altar, no problem.

But I want her. Since the mo ment I saw her, this is what I’ve wanted. Does she owe me for saving her that night six years ago?

No. But if that’s what gets me the girl, then I’ll take it. After my talk with Adam, I know that Eve finds herself in sticky situ ations all the time.

I don’t mind putting a collar on her and throw ing her into a cell in the base ment. But I want to see who she goes to first. Who tries to save her from me. There’s al ways a Lord behind the show. A pup pet mas ter, if you will. She might be some one else’s pup pet, but she’ll be my whore.

I know that she’s connected to Bill. Do I believe they’re blood re‐ lated? No. But there is def initely some thing there that needs to be answered. Adam only knew enough to make me have more ques‐ tions. And at this point, I don’t even trust what he told me.

I give Sin a week before he comes to me demanding answers, wanting to know what I’ve found out from her.

A bleached blonde gets my attention, walk ing through the crowd, headed toward the bar. You can’t miss her under the flash ing lights.

It’s my lucky night. “One sec,” I tell the guys, getting up and making my way across the dance floor to the main bar while “Birthday Cake” by Rihanna blasts through the club.

Coming up behind her, my eyes drop to her red heels and slowly run up her black leg gings. They look to be leather and re veal every curve of her lean legs up and over her round ass. Fuck, I want my cock inside it. They sit high on her thin waist, and she wears a white crop top that shows a sliver of her back. Her hair is up in a high ponytail, showing off her delicate neck. I step up to the bar beside her and re move my wallet from my back pocket.

“Her tab is on me tonight,” I inform the bartender, sliding my card to him.

She glances at me and rolls her pretty eyes. They light up under the neon lights. “I don’t need your money, Kash.” She reaches out and shoves my card across the bar, and it falls off the edge at my feet.

Bending down to pick it up, I chuckle. “Eve —”

She huffs, turning to face me, placing her hand on her hip. “Start‐ ing to think you’re obsessed with me.”

I smirk. “Oh, I am.” There is no denying her.

Stepping into me, her hand touches my chest as she tilts her head to the side. “Want to throw me onto the bar and fuck me right here?”

Her words catch me off guard. She was sick to her stomach after I fucked her at the run-down mo tel. I didn’t stick around the other night in her basement to see how she re acted once she came down, but if I had to guess, I’d say it was no different.

Now she’s willing to let me fuck her in front of an audience? She’s either trying to throw me off or she’s starting to come around to be‐ ing my whore. I place my hand on her lower back, pulling her into me.

That grants me a tight smile. “Hon es tly,” I begin, and her smile fal‐ ters, like she’s wondering what I’m about to say. “I’d never fuck you in front of others.” Her eyes search mine, but she’ll find no lie. “I won’t be sharing what’s mine.”

“Yours?” Her brows rise and she gives a rough laugh. “I don’t be‐ long to you, Kashton.” She pushes me away and I allow it.

“It was my cum that leaked from your cunt, angel,” I remind her.

“You don’t get any moremine than that.”

She looks away from me, swallowing. I’m going to push her past her limits. She’s going to learn there’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Even if I have to make her uncomfortable.

Turning, she goes to walk away, but I grab her hand, yanking her back to me. Her green eyes glance up at me. “I need a sec ond,” she says, licking her lips.

The tenderness in her words makes me pause. I can only imagine what she’s been through. I know what Saint and Haidyn and I went through when Isabella trained us. The thought of what Eve must have endured at Dollhouse makes my chest tighten.

I reach up and cup her cheek, but she pulls away. This time I don’t stop her when she walks toward the hallway that leads to the re‐ strooms.

I re turn to my seat. The mo ment I sit down, the guys start laugh‐ ing. “What’s so funny?” I ask, wondering what I missed. Picking up my beer, I go to take a sip when Grant answers.

“Dude, please tell me you’re not chasing that.”

I pause, the drink against my lips. “What?” I ask, giving him a chance to re phrase what he just said before he pisses me off.

“Everett,” he announces, and the sound of her name on his lips makes my hand tighten on the cold bottle. “She’s a fuck ing whore.”

The friend sitting next to him, Porter, slaps his shoulder. “Whores get paid, man. She’s free.”

“Who cares who she’s slept with?” Spencer says. “She’s useless.”

“What the fuck does that mean?” I slam the bottle down onto the ta ble so hard that the beer foams over the top and onto my hand.

“He’s joking.” Porter laughs it off. “If you’ve got a wife, she’s the perfect kind of fuck on the side.”

I swing the beer bottle, meaning to hit him in the side of the head, but it’s slick from the al cohol, so I end up hitting the side of his face instead, knocking him back.

Spencer jumps out of the booth, grabs my shirt, and yanks me from my seat. He goes to hit me in the face, but I’m faster and ram my beer-covered fist into his nose.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Grant jump as he leaps onto my back. He slams me into the ta ble. My arm knocks over a glass of beer. I grab a hold of it, spin around, and knock him on the side of the head with it.

A hand touches me, and I turn around, ready to swing, only to see Colt, Finn, Alex, and Jenks standing there. They break up fights, but they weren’t going to touch me.

“The fuck?” Tyson barks, head ing toward me. The bartender caught it and called up to him. Fights happen all the time here. They’re al‐ ways on the lookout. “Kashton,” Tyson growls, looking over at the three men bleeding and rolling around on the floor. “Get them the fuck out of here,” he barks at his minions.

“Where is she?” I snap, glancing around the club, trying to get my eyes to fo cus. The flashing lights make it hard to see.

“Who?” Tyson grabs my arm, but I yank it from his hold and storm toward the hallway that leads to the bathroom. “Kash, don’t—”

I shove open the women’s re stroom door, and two girls standing at the counter turn and scream when they see me rush in.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Tyson growls, en tering behind me.

A quick look tells me all the stall doors are open; she’s not in here.

I spin around and leave as quickly as I entered.

“What in the fuck are you doing, Kash?” Tyson demands, running up behind me. “Do the guys know you’re here?”

I snort at his question. As if I need a fuck ing babysitter. Making my way to the back door, I walk out side and scan the parking lot for her car, but I don’t see it. She bailed. I wasn’t going to leave with out her after that, but I can’t stay here now.

“Kash?” I hear Tyson call out. The bas tard is still following me.

“I’m leaving,” I throw over my shoul der, walking up to my bike.

My adren aline is running, my breathing er ratic. Fuck, the fact that they even know her name pisses me off. How do they know her?

Have they paid to fuck her? Did they rape her? I should have fuck ing stabbed them to death right there and then.

“Kash, wait—”

Straddling my Ninja H2R, I turn it on, rev the engine, and squeal the back tire as I exit the parking lot. I need some fresh air.

I come to a stop light and pull out my cell, connecting it to my ear‐ buds, and “Waste land” by 10 Years begins to play. When the light turns green, I take off, racing to get onto the highway.

The cool night air hits my face, and I weave in and out of the light traffic, not caring how fast I’m going. My cell ringing pauses the song a few times, and I know it’s my broth ers. Tyson is the father we all deserved to have, but right now, he’s tattling on me. Calling Haidyn and Saint to fill them in on what I did.

I adjust myself, sitting back on the bike, slow and shift into first gear, then open up the throttle. I pop a wheelie in the fast lane be‐ fore slamming it down and taking the next exit. I take a quick look at the in tersection coming up, ensuring no one is there, and run the red light, taking a right and speeding down the road.

A few minutes later, I’m taking curves faster than I should be down a two-lane road when I see headlights com ing up fast behind me.

They flash a few times, but I ignore them. If it’s a cop, I’m pre‐ pared to out run him. Not because I’m afraid of them but because I’m not in the mood to put up with one tonight. I’m still on edge and need to fight. I’d rather run from a cop than beat the shit out of one. That will definitely piss off the guys.

After about a mile, they finally pass me and slam on their brakes.

Fuck.

I yank on my front brake so hard that it brings my rear end up while the nose goes down into a stoppie position. I place both boots on the ground as the back tire slams onto the road.

The car pulls off the two-lane road onto a gravel one and I decide to follow. Coming to a stop, I slam down my kickstand and yank my earbuds out, strolling toward the car. “What the fuck?” I shout. My blood was al ready pump ing, but now I’m in the mood to fin ish what I wanted to do to those guys at Blackout. I fist my blood-covered knuckles.

The driver’s side door opens suicide style, and a man in a black hoodie steps out.

“You have a fucking problem?” The words I’m about to say next trail off when I look into a set of green eyes. “Adam?” I demand.

“Fuck, man. If you needed some thing, you could have called me.”

He knows I have his number, since I stole it from Eve’s phone. He’s also in a different car than when I saw him at his house.

His eyes fall to my bike before they glance back to mine. “You have a minute?”

“Yeah.” I nod, knowing this can’t be good. “What do you need?”

“Your cell.” He reaches out his hand, and I re move it from my pocket and hand it to him.

He pitches it off the side of the gravel road, and I watch it disap‐

pear into the woods.

Okay.

“Get in,” he orders, giving me his back, and I follow and fall into the passenger seat, hearing “Call Me” by Shinedown softly playing from his speakers.

“You know I have a tracker in my neck, right?” The guys are no doubt looking at my location since Tyson called them.

“I just need a few minutes.” He pulls out onto the two-lane road and then tosses a folder into my lap.

“Were you able to find Everett’s videos from Dollhouse?” I ask, my heart now racing at what’s in here. I open it up to find a police re‐ port. I frown. That wasn’t what I expected. “How the fuck did you get this?” I ask, but I al ready know. He told us that he’s been work‐ ing on the inside. He’s got reach within the police. Not like we need it, but he sees the paperwork behind the cases.

“She’s in trouble.” He ignores my ques tion.

My eyes shoot to his. “What kind of trouble?”

“She called the police…”

“Yeah, over the body she found in the cemetery. The detective Ty has on payroll told us.” I fill him in. “He also informed us that she was cleared.”

He sighs. “It’s bigger than that. They are going to make sure she goes down for the murders.”

I laugh. “They think she committed all seven murders? That’s ridiculous.” I’ve seen her kill three men, but seven women? Some‐

thing tells me that it wasn’t my girl.

“They’ve got her DNA.” He glances at me quickly before looking back at the road.

The detective didn’t mention that to us. “Well, maybe she touched the body—”

“Jesus. Does anyone fucking listen?” he barks out, slamming his palm on his steering wheel. “I tried to tell her—”

“Wait. When?” He doesn’t answer, and I grind my teeth. “Did you know this the other night when we spoke at your house?”

He ignores that question too. “Her life is on the line right now, and she’s not taking it seriously. I thought you would.”

“I am,” I bark, dropping my eyes to the re port.

“Good. I told her to run—”

“Not happening,” I interrupt him. I’ve been looking for her for too long to let her go now. But now I understand why he was adamant that she leave town the other night on the phone.

He tightens his grip on the steering wheel. “Then you’ll have to

hide her at Carnage.”

“Done,” I say easily.

He gives a soft laugh. “She’s not going to go willingly.”

“You say that like it’ll be a problem.” I scan the paperwork that gives details of her explaining how she found the body. It also states that she had an attorney present—William Marks. A.k.a. Bill. “How long do I have?” I’ll have to come up with a plan.

“I’d say three weeks. A month at most. They want to wrap it up pretty quickly. But they need to get everything set up first. When they come to ar rest her, there will be nothing left to dispute.”

I nod. “I’ll be ready.” But as much as I’d love to make her my pet at Carnage, I add, “I could go to Tyson’s detective. Tell him —”

“Don’t trust him.” He shakes his head. “She either has you or no

one.”

Me. She has me.

“What about your boss? The detective on the plane?”

He sighs heavily before he an swers. “This isn’t his department.”

How is this not his department? I’m not sure what the fuck he means by that, but I understand it’s a dead end. He’s no help.

“She probably shouldn’t be going out in pub lic to party if she’s be‐ ing set up,” I mumble to myself. She can get drunk at home.

“What do you mean?” he asks, and I consider ignor ing him like he does some of my ques tions, but this is about Eve.

“I just saw her at Blackout.”

He frowns. “When?”

“Tonight.” I glance at his clock lighting up on his dash. “About twenty min utes ago. I just came from there.”

“Are you sure?”

I grind my teeth. “Yes. I spoke to her.” Fisting my busted knuckles, I add, “Some guys were talking shit about Eve. After I beat the fuck out of them, I looked for her. Was going to drag her ass out of there, but she had already left.”

He shifts in his seat, bringing the car to a stop, and I see that he’s parked back by my bike. I glance over at him, and he’s staring out the windshield as if he can’t look at me.

“Why are you helping her?” He said they’d had sex, but is it more than that? Does he love her? Or is he just wanting her to lie low for now so she can keep working for him? Either way, it has to be for his bene fit.

Adam swallows before glancing at me. His eyes are void of any emotion when he speaks. “I know what it feels like to be framed when you’re innocent. I had some one help me. And I can only do so much. After our talk the other night, I know you’re that some one for her.” With that, he looks back out the wind shield, and I know it’s all I’m going to get.

I shut the folder and set it on his lap. When I close the pas senger door, he pulls out, and his taillights disappear down the curvy two- lane road.

My phone lights up as Haidyn calls me, helping me spot it in the dark night. I pick it up out of the bushes, ignore the call, and pull up my Spotify. “Follow You Home” by Nickelback fills my ears as I try to figure out how I’m going to make the pretty blonde become my pris‐ oner. Be cause I know she will not come to Carnage willingly. She’s too independent for that.

I’ll have to force my angel to live in hell.
