50. A Firm Tone
I wasn’t sure what it was about being in Ace’s car—maybe that we were alone or that I was locked in a small space with him—but once we hit the road, the heat in my body became too intense to ignore.
At the restaurant, it had been a mere thrum. But in the car, it was an all-out, blazing inferno in the pit of my stomach, and quickly alighting the rest of my body.
I couldn’t seem to take in enough air, my chest rising and falling with labored breaths, as sweat beaded over every inch of me.
But as bad as the heat was, it was the incessant ache between my legs that was really driving me mad. It felt…empty. I needed Ace’s touch.
“Ace,” I moaned, shifting in my seat, “something is wrong.”
“I know, baby, I know. Just let me get you home and then I’ll make it all better.”
I shook my head. That would take too long. I needed relief now.
“It hurts, Ace. Please, it hurts. I need you.” I squeezed my legs together and reached for him.
I even considered crawling over the center console to get closer, not giving a damn that he was driving.
Ace let out a string of curses. Keeping his eyes on the road, he kept one hand on the steering wheel while sliding the other between my thighs. “Open your legs for me, Doe.”
I eagerly followed his orders, spreading my legs and giving him access to where I needed him most.
Ace pushed the damp crotch of my panties out of the way and slid two fingers into my pussy.
“Yes,” I mewled, letting my head fall back against my seat as the sweet relief made my limbs feel numb.
“Does that feel better?” Ace asked me gruffly.
I nodded, rolling my hips against his hand, my jaw going slack.
“Good,” Ace grunted.
I would’ve been amused by how tense his voice had become if I hadn’t been so focused on how amazing his fingers felt inside of me.
“Ride my hand. Make yourself cum. It’ll help.”
I didn’t need to be told twice.
I jerked my hips back and forth, feeling his fingers slide in and out of me. His hand felt unbelievable, ten times better than any other time he had touched me. I couldn’t get enough.
When I glanced at my boyfriend, I was pleased to find that he could barely keep his attention on the road, his eyes continuously flicking down to watch his fingers go in and out of my pulsing pussy.
Feeling enthused, I grabbed a hold of his wrist to guide myself and moved even faster, moaning as the ball of pleasure in the bottom of my stomach started to tighten.
Ace clenched his jaw and made a hoarse, animal sound.
“My god, you’re sexy. You’re getting your wetness all over my chair,” he snarled.
“You gonna cum in my car like a good girl, Doe? You gonna let me smell your pleasure every time I go for a drive?”
I didn’t get the chance to respond. Ace started to flick his thumb back and forth over my clit, stealing the words from my mouth, nearly making me go blind.
My movements turned jerky, my climax nearing at a rapid pace.
“There you go. We’re almost at my house. I just need you to cum, baby. You can do it,” Ace told me, I was locked in a working my clit faster as he moved his fingers in and out of me himself now.
My entire world shifted, and it was beyond glorious. My climax took over all my senses, so suddenly ferno in the pit of and with such force, it was almost painful.
All I could do was arch my spine and throw my head back, digging my nails into Ace’s arm as wave after wave rolled through me. My relief was strong… …as was my appetite for more.riving me mad. It “Ace. Oh god, Ace,” I whimpered. “Alpha.”
Ace froze. His fingers stilled inside me, causing my orgasm to end much sooner than I would have liked. I slumped against the chair, my breath racing in and out of my lungs.
I was still shuddering when I peeked over at Ace. He was staring at me with confusion.
It was only then I remembered what I’d said at the height of my climax.
“Ace,” I mumbled, sitting up so I could see him better.t he was driving.
We were parked in his garage. Jeez, Ace can drive fast when he wants to.
Ace pulled his hand away from me. “What did you call me?”
Alpha. I had called him Alpha. I wasn’t even sure why. It just came out.
Panic tightened my chest. “I don’t know why I said it. I didn’t mean to. I swear—”
“Did you call me Alpha?” Ace interrupted.
I couldn’t tell from his expression if he was upset with me. He just looked intense.
Maybe even a little alarmed.
I nodded slowly. “Yes. But it wasn’t because I was thinking about anybody else, I promise. It just came out.”
Ace looked away from me and stared at the dashboard for a few seconds. The tightening in my chest only got worse.
“Clara called you that!” I blurted out. “A few weeks ago, remember? Maybe I was unconsciously thinking about that or something—”
Ace put a hand on my knee. “I’m not mad, Doe,” he offered me a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“I was just a little thrown off, that’s all.”
“It wasn’t because I was thinking about anybody else,” I repeated. “I swear.”
He turned to face me completely and brushed my hair out of my face. “I know, beautiful. That thought never even crossed my mind.”
His fingers lingered on my cheek, and he rubbed soothing circles over my chin with his thumb. “Do you feel better now?”
He was trying to change the subject. I knew it. He was always trying to change the subject. re every time I goBut I did, in fact, feel better. The heat, although still buzzing beneath my skin, had significantly
diminished.
“Yes,” I murmured.
I could feel my face coloring as I remembered how I’d behaved. I’d practically begged him to get me
off. Why had I done that? I didn’t feel like myself.
“I’m sorry.”
Ace frowned. “For what?”
I shrugged and looked down. “For acting so weird just now. I…I don’t know what came over me.” I noticed my dress was still bunched above my thighs and quickly pulled it to my knees.
Ace shook his head. “No, I didn’t mean to make you feel self-conscious, Doe. Don’t ever apologize for needing me.” His tone was firm.
I studied him. This entire night was turning out nothing like how I’d planned, and it was making my heart ache a little. “You’re sure you’re not mad about calling you… that?”
“Why would I be mad about that? It’s not like you said a different name or something.”
I believed him. But only to a certain extent. I knew Ace well enough to know that something was bothering him.
Ace leaned in and kissed me long and hard, his tongue tangling with mine, successfully ridding me of all my worries.
“Let’s go inside,” I urged while he kissed his way down my neck. Maybe the night wouldn’t be a total loss after all. “Our date isn’t over. I still have to show you what I have on under this dress.”
